I was thinking about doing a Secret Santa exchange with my extended family this year, but there seem to be too many undercurrents of ill will (the causes of which I’m blissfully unaware, if not unaffected). My uncles are sending gifts for Daniel, so I’ll be giving them a little something, at least.

I so dread this time of the year, but that’s a whole other post! For now, I’ll stick with the gift giving list. (Just to follow Suze’s earlier post.)

I think that sums up all of the people we need to buy for. Some have question marks after them as DH and I still need to discuss whether or not we’ll be buying for them. Perhaps my next post will be the “other story” I alluded to earlier… You could only be so lucky!

We usually exchange Christmas cards with the aunts and uncles, but not gifts.

Every five years, the families of my mom and her two sisters (one is now deceased) spend Christmas together. It’s this year and we draw names. So, we have four extra names:

Cousin Lauren’s 22(?) year old son, Daniel
Cousin Beth’s husband, Pat
