When J’s sister’s first child was 2-ish, we gave him one of those toys that has the alphabet on it, where you can push all the different letters, and it’ll repeat them for you, over and over and over, for as long as a little finger mashes it down. Childless at the time, we laughed and laughed about our “joke.” Well, they made sure to return the favor a couple of years later when we had a little one. Not the same toy, but something similar. Not very funny the 2nd time around. Ha.
